This policy explains what information The Wealth Alchemist LLC collects through treesaremoney.com, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do with it. The Wealth Alchemist LLC runs Money Grows on Trees and is responsible for your information. Impact Loop LLC organises the event on our behalf. Questions go to wealth@jerremynewsome.com.
What we collect
What you give us. When you join the waitlist, book a cabin or book a call, we receive what you enter: usually your name, email address and phone number, the room you are interested in and anything else the form asks. Card payments are taken by the payment processor connected to the booking form. We never see or store your full card number.
How you use the site. We use PostHog to see how people use this page: the pages you view, what you click, how far you scroll, the link or campaign that brought you here, your device and browser, and your approximate location worked out from your IP address. PostHog also records sessions, a replay of how the page was used, so we can see where it works and where it does not. Recordings do not capture what you type into fields.
Linking the two. When you give us your email address on the waitlist or a booking form, we link your earlier and later visits to it. That tells us who has looked at the page and which invitation brought them, so we can follow up with the right people.
What we use it for
- To hold your place, take your booking and run the event.
- To reply to you and to send you updates about Money Grows on Trees.
- To understand which invitations and links bring people here, and to improve the page.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that run the site and the event for us, and only for that purpose:
- Typeform, which runs the waitlist and booking forms.
- Calendly, which books calls.
- PostHog, which runs our analytics and session recordings.
- Vercel, which hosts the site.
- The people who deliver the event, such as the ship's operator, where they need your details to arrange your place.
Some of these services are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there.
Cookies and similar storage
PostHog stores an identifier in your browser so it can recognise a returning visit. The site also keeps the campaign details from the link you arrived on for the length of your visit, so they reach the form you fill in. We use no advertising cookies. You can clear or block these in your browser settings and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as we need them to run the event and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Waitlist details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data and recordings are kept for the period set in our PostHog account and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you can stop our emails by replying to one or writing to wealth@jerremynewsome.com. If you are in the UK or the European Union you also have the right to object to how we use your information and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California you have the right to know what we hold and to ask us to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update it here and change the date at the top.
